Rising Momentum LLC became established as a business on 1 January 2019.
As a retired veteran, David has spent 20 years as an Army Engineer leading and mentoring young Soldiers. Throughout his career, David was assigned as an instructor at prestigious Army leadership schools for 10 years. With his last assignment as the Senior Instructor for the Fordham University Military Science department and ROTC. Teaching students from 33 NYC colleges including NYU, Columbia, and Marist College leadership and team building skills.
David was an Army Ranger, Paratrooper, and combat leader in Afghanistan and Iraq, earning 2 Bronze Stars. His greatest achievement, however, is the mentorship and coaching he provided to his Soldiers. Now as a retired veteran, he wants to continue to give back to the next generation by developing and mentoring young adults.

Currently a 4th grade teacher in Daytona Beach public schools, Melony has been a teacher for over 12 years. As a military spouse, Melony has a diverse background teaching in 6 states including 8 different school districts in public, private and DOD school systems. As a graduate student, she additionally interned as an administrator for 2 NYC schools, including a title 1 high school. Licensed in all 6 states, her depth and breadth of knowledge of education is unparalleled.
She spent a semester studying in Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish.
She also has experience as a daycare specialist, lifeguard, tutor, and an international flight attendant for 3 years. Her broad experiences in and outside the country give her the skills and expertise to develop and teach young adults while keeping things interesting.
